6 webbings for different jobs all easy to fix, PIRELLI RUBBER* by the metre, slot in or ERCOL STRAPS the most expensive and the best very strong and comfortable will last for years used in seats with only 10% stretch it can tacked or stapled to the frame or when slots are in the furniture straps with clips on each end or looped with rivets for Ercol can be used which we supply,  we have  ELASTICATE WEBBING   seating quality a cheaper but efficient substitute for rubber webbing,  we have the very strong BLACK AND WHITE HERRINGBONE also known as English Webbing used mainly in dining chair seats and in traditional seating where hour glass springs are used these are tacked into place and stretched to the correct tension with a stretching tool (see below) finally we have the JUTE webbing a cheaper substitute for the herringbone used mainly on the backs of chairs or where the seating is used only lightly not to be used where there will be any heavy use. ATLAS very strong rubberised  almost as good as pirelli and much cheaper

 when buying by the metre we will always try to send in one length, longer lengths may have joins these will be indicated by RED markings clearly visible, full 50 metre rolls may have up to three joins

* Pirelli no longer make rubber webbing it is now supplied by CTex our suppliers call it Q1 so where you see webbing advertised as genuine pirelli it is either very old stock or Q1

NOTE: Before ordering made up straps please make sure you are ordering the correct straps SLOT IN will not fit ERCOL TYPE and vice versa

We strongly recommend replacing all the straps on the chair/settee etc, just replacing the worn or broken straps will leave an uneven seat  resulting in excess pressure on the new straps and an uncomfortable seat
